Jason dove under my bed just as my mom and dad stepped into my room. "Is everything okay?" I asked trying to remain calm even though my heart was racing. "We wanted to talk to you about something." my mom said taking a seat beside me. "Sure." my dad took over the conversation. "Eric mentioned to us that you had a visitor a couple of days ago by the name of Jason McCann, might I ask who this boy is?" he said looking down at me. "He's a new student in my English class."
"And?"
"And... I really like him daddy."
"What's this boy like?
"Dad, you can use his name, he won't be a stranger for long." I said smiling sheepishly feeling my face burn. Jason was under my bed afterall listening to all of this. "C.C. before Jason becomes a common household guest, I would like to meet him, see what he's like." he returned using a semi-stern voice. "Yessir, name the day and he'll be here."
"Tomorrow, and he best be here on time."
"He will."
"Okay then sweetie, goodnight."
"Night daddy, night mama."
When they left I began breathing again.
Jason slid out from under the best laughing quietly. "Your dad sounds nice." he said appearing to be enoying himself. "He's just overprotective, and you're meeting him tomorrow."
"I should've just met him now hahaha."
"Jason we could've gotten caught."
"It's not like he were doing anything."
"My dad would still flip."
"Should I know anything for tomorrow."
"Yeah, don't mention your bomb-making hobby."
"Ha, I'll make sure of that."
He kissed me on the cheek and hopped out of the window like Peter Pan. In the morning both Eric and I were dropped off at school in crutches. There was hardly any damage on the football field. The bomb was conveniently placed in the sand pit. "Whoa! Look at you crutches!" Lily shouted taking a gander at my situation. "Haha, they're pretty swag." I replied letting her stroll around in one. "Wow, it's a good thing Jason got us out of there when he did."
"I know, I'm so grateful to the officer who tackled Gretchen, she got hurt, but oh well."
"Haha I know."
She gave me back my crutch and helped me get to first. Something was off about the class, hmm... Oh my God YES! Camilla was not there! Whoo! "Camilla was transfered to another class." Mrs. Foster informed. I didn't respond but inside it was the 4th of July. Suddenly Camilla came in. "Just wanted to say hi." she said. "Hey now I don't have any classes with you." one of her friends said smiling. "Oh joy to the world." she replied sarcastically. Oh yes, definitely joy to the world. If only my ankle wasn't broken, I'd have busted out in the shuffle.
Jason walked in just as Camilla was making her way out. "Morning." he said kissing my cheek. Camilla stared at us with a mixed expression on her face. "Bell's going to ring soon." Mrs. Foster said. "Right, bye." Camilla answered lingering in her stare. "She's leaving?" Jason asked watching her grace us with her absence. "Yeah, she got transfered to another class." We gave each other under an handed high five. "I'm going to miss Camilla." Mrs. Foster commented. Teach her privately then. She started a super boring lecture making everybody start passing notes. I wrote on to Jason saying:

Me: You are coming to meet my dad right?
Jason: Yeeeeeah, sure.
Me: ?
Jason: I'll be there, but I have to make an excuse to my stepdad, he doesn't know about you
Me: Ooh, will I be meeting him too?
Jason: Yeah, I don't want to keep you a secret, but give me some times to soften him up about it, he knows about Gretchem and everything that's happened, he's not too happy
Me: Okay let me know, but be on time to my house, my dad's a doctor and looks down on tardiness
Jason: I will, but there will be lying invovled
Me: No, Jason, I don't want you to get in trouble.
Jason: You want me there or not?
Me: Yeah, but don't get in trouble
Jason: Lemme handle it
Jason was supposed to come over right after school around 4 o'clock, it was 3:58 "He's apparantly not coming." my dad said eyeing the clock. "He'll be here, he just had to check with his stepdad, it was on short notice." I replied cringing as the clock struck 3:59. "Hmm, so far not liking him"
Gah, get here already Jason! 4:00, ugh. Ding-dong! I jumped to the door dying of relief that he was standing there. "On the dot." he said glancing at his watch with a smirk. "Come on in." I said nervously. My dad looked like a bodyguard and stared down at him. My dad was really tall and buff, he'd been a football player in highschool.
"Nice to meet you sir." Jason said extending his hand. My dad shook it and invited him to sit down. "Excuse my rudeness, dad this is Jason McCann, Jason, this is my dad." I said feeling dumb for not doing that earlier. "Yes sweetie." my dad replied raising his eyebrow. Agh, he was being difficult. "C.C. you should go help your brother in the kitchen with you afterschool snack." he said. Great, he was trying to get me out of here. I glanced at Jason nervously. He smiled slightly trying to reassure me. Don't hurt him daddy.

Jason's POV
C.C. slowly entered the kitchen, once she was in there completely he turned his attention to me. Wow, he was really big and his stare, damn, they were like bullets! "How old are you Jason?" he asked focusing more on me. "I-I'm 16." Mr. Castilla narrowed his eyes, this man should've been a cop. "Are you nervous?" he asked calmly. "Yes, a lot." I replied nervously. "Don't be, I was in your position once. Just relax, it's not a job interview. Which leads me to my next question, do you have a job?"
"... Not at the moment."
"Hmm... interesting. Do you like sports?"
"Yes."
"Good, because C.C. loves sports, what are you hobbies?"
Oh crap

Hey, sorry for all the spelling mistakes I might have made. I'm just so tired I didn't want to edit, thank you for reading and I hope you liked it! Tweet me <3 You last comments have been so sweet <33 Thanks! ~ALLI <3

"Ahhh... I don't think I want to give you that." I said slowly standing up. "It doesn't matter what you want, I'm going to have it."
"Well, if I die, it won't be because you've killed me." I jumped backwards out of the window. The rope snapped digging into my skin. I cried out steadying myself with the building. I was still about 10 feet from the ground. Gretchen was climbing down quickly after me. I opened Jason's knife and cut away swiftly at the rope.
I shrieked falling the last 10 feet, slamming onto the ground hard. Gretchen yelled something down to me, but I was busy crawling away. My foot felt shattered, but it was probably just sprained. She made it safely to the ground and set a calm pace coming after me. Where was Jason?! "Ceeee Cee." she eerily called out. I forced myself to ignore the shooting pain and move to get out of there. Gretchen stepped on my foot causing me to cry out. "Quiet dear, not one can hear you anyway." she said kneeling down to my face. "Leave me alone, you don't even know me! Help! Somebody please, help me!" I shouted. Gretchen shook her head waiting for me to stop.
"Just stay still and this won't hurt a bit." she continued setting her target once again. "You caused Jason to break my heart, and now I'm going to make your bleed." She cocked her gun. "I'm pretty traditional, any last words." she asked sliding her finger over the trigger. A shadow behind her calmed my fears. "Yeah, good bye Gretchen." Two officers tackled her to the ground fiercly. "I'm forensics specialist Stokes." another man said coming to help me up. "Thank you! You guys saved my life!" I exclaimed hopping to my feet.
"You're welcome." Stokes said calmly. "What is your name?" he asked. "Cassandra." I replied sitting in an ambulance. "Cassandra, do you know who Jason McCann is?"
"I don't know who that is."
"Are you sure there hasn't been a new student to any of your classes?"
"There was a new student, but I don't pay attention to new kids."
"I'd like to show you a line up and see if you can identify our bomber."
He pulled out a paper with several pictures. Jason's was the first.
"Wow this first one is really cute." I said hoping he'd consider me an airhead. "Yeah... do you recognize anyone?" I did, not Jason, but another guy. Jason's accomplice Roger had to be around the same age and at the game, he was sitting next to Gretchen. "This one." I said pointing to Rogers picture. "Are you sure?" Stokes asked. "He was at the game acting strange close to where I was cheering." he nodded putting away the pictures. "Are you sure you've never seen Jason McCann?"
"Which one is he?"
"The cute one..."
"I'd remember a face like that."
"Okay, but you're sure you've never seen him and that guy you pointed out was at the game?"
Well damn, did he know I was lying about Jason? "Yes." I replied. "And Jason McCann was not around?"
"No, why do you keep asking about him?"
"We have reason to believe he is behind this bombing."
"Does he have a history of doing this?"
"Yes."
"Oh... well, I haven't seen him, only that guy I pointed out."
"Okay, well thank you."
"Welcome."
The EMT's loaded me up and drove me to the hospital. I'd broken one bone, but torn a couple of ligaments. The doctor booted me up and I went to visit Eric. He'd hurt his knee, the good news was that the doctor said he'd still be able to play. Our parents were freaking out over the bombing asking a million questions, but my mind was on Jason. Did he even try to stop detonation? My parents drove everyone home, and helped Eric and me to our rooms. "I'm do glad you kids are all right. I couldn't imagine losing you two." my mom said kissing the top of my head. "We'll always be here mama." she smiled turning out my light.
I sighed staring up at the ceiling replaying the nights events. Scratching sounded at my window followed by a click, it'd been unlocked. A person quietly opened the glass, carefully placing their foot on the window seat. "C.C.?" It was Jason! I jumped out of my bed and hobbled over to him falling into his embrace. "Where were you?" I asked sitting with him on the window seat. "Cops raided the place, but I was nearby. I wouldn't have let her hurt you." he said kissing my hand. "Thank you. Someone was looking for you. His name was Stokes.
A concerned expression spread over his face "What did he say?" he asked. "He asked me if I knew you, I said no, then he asked if you have anything to do the bombing, I said no because I didn't know you, but you didn't right?" I said. "Well,"
"Jason..."
"Let me explain."
"Okay."
He closed the window and took both of my hands in his.
"It was Gretchen's idea to bomb the game, when we were ready to detonate, I tried stopping her, but she hit the button with her foot, but I swear I tried to stop her, and even before that, I tried talking her out of it, but she knows my weaknesses and targets them." he said. "I'm sorry that I wasn't able to stop her and you and Eric got hurt." I shook my head. "Stuff happens, what matters is that you tried to stop her. And we didn't get that hurt, after we heal, Eric can still play and I can still cheer yoo." I said reassuring him we were okay.
"I'll make it up to you." he said as I pulled him into a hug. "You don't have to." I replied. "No, I want to." he kissed my cheek softly then he picked me up and carried me to my bed making sure I was comfortable. "Goodnight." he bid kissing the top of my head. "Jason." I said. "Yeah?" he returned to my beside. "You're going to stop bombings right?" I asked sitting up. "I-" my bedroom door began opening. "Sweetie." Crap! It was my mom and dad!

Oh noooo! Are they gonna get caught?? Oh my goodness this week was hell, like literally, but I survived and now hopefully things will slow down. I took a 4 1/2 hour test today, horrible, but I lived, I sang Call Me Maybe in my head the whole time, Justin crept in there and Demi too haha. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you guys liked it! Tweet me for an RT <3 ~ALLI <3

C.C.'s POV
I got Eric to the car. "C.C.!" a guy yelled. It was Jason racing towards me. He crashed into me then apologized repeatedly. "Jason calm down!" I said holding his arms. He caught his breath and cupped my face. "Listen to me and don't interrupt." he instructed. I nodded and waited for him to continue. "I'm sorry for what happened with Gretchen, I regret it whole heartedly. I'm sorry if you felt embarrassed, it'll take me a long time to make it right, but right now I want you to know that I'm falling for you hard, I want to make you happy, I don't know how else to explain myself." I smiled knowing he was being sincere.
He pulled me into him closely and kissed me passionately. For a moment I could hear nothing but his racing heartbeat. "You have to come with me for a minute." he said tugging me along. "Wait." I leaned into the window. "Lily, take Eric to the hospital. If I don't come within 30 minutes, call the police and send them here." she nodded and hopped ito the drivers seat. I ran off with Jason into the nearest building. "Jason what's going on why are we running?" I asked trying to keep up with him. "Well, your life is in danger." I pulled back. "What?! Why?!" I cried shrinking back. "Cassandra don't ask questions! We have to get somewhere safe." Whoa, he called me by my name, he was dead serious about this.
We ran up 5 flights of stairs and burst into the nearest open classroom. He piled up the desks at the door and sat me under a window. He unzipped his backpack and tied a rope around my waist and the other end to a support beam. "If anything should happen, you climb out of this window and run to police. Use this knife to cut the rope and get down." he said handing me a swiss army knife. He got up appearing to leave. "No Jason don't leave me!" I cried reaching out to him. He kissed my hand and said, "I'm right here don't worry." He pressed his ear to the door to listen for footsteps.
Then he came to sit beside me and cradled me in his arms. "Jason why is my life in danger?" I asked hugging him tighter. "Let's just say Gretchen gives a whole new meaning to the expression, 'pycho ex-gilfriend' ha." he said. "Oh my god! Is she trying to kill me?!"
"Yeah sorta."
"Oh my god!"
He covered my mouth putting a finger to his lips. "Stop yelling, she'll hear you." I nodded. "What is this Jason? What are you involved in?" I asked in a loud whisper. He fell silent. "Jason McCann!" I yelled. "Shh!"
He looked around then returned to me.
"Okay, I'm gonna tell you the whole truth okay?" he said. I nodded. "My parents died when I was little, so my brother Alex and I were raised in a bunch of foster homes until a man named Ralph Harvey adopted us. He taught us along with his followers to hate the government. Alex and I got into a lot of trouble blowing stuff up in Vegas. We bombed a funeral, our house. We were then adopted by Paul, who because he's a doctor, didn't spend much time with us. I met a guy named Roger, and we kept bombing places almost killing a forensics guy named Stokes. Paul asked for a transfer to Oakland, there I met Gretchen. She lived in a crappy group home so we decided to blow it up. Again, Paul asked for a transfer here to LA, but Gretchen followed me and here we are." he finished.
Wow... I did not see that coming. He stared at me letting me take it all in. "You're a serial bomber?" I asked still grasping it. "Yes." We'd all heard about the bombings in Vegas and Oakland. I couldn't believe I was actually talking to the person behind it. Oh my god, I was falling for the person behind it! "Cassandra?" I met his gaze. "Are you going to continue this?" I asked leaning into the wall. "I don't want to."
"Why'd you do it this time?"
"Gretchen has a way of making me do things."
"Promise me you won't do this anymore?"
"I promise."
I kissed him softly, then harder, not hearing the turning knob. Light footsteps pattered the floor. "How sweet." Gretchen said shining a flashlight on us. We covered our faces, it was like an LED light. "You must be C.C." she said nwo shining it only on me. "What do you want from me?" I asked slowly preparing to jump out of the window. We were on the 5th floor, that'd be such a long way down. And what if she came after me? She whipped out a gun steadily pointing it at her desired target. Right at my heard. "I want, you life."

It seems like forever since I posted, sorry this week was hell, and I mean it was hell. Testing for two hours then going to regular classes. Plus, I'm getting sick, AGAIN, so it was not the best day. But after a nap and tea I feel much better! :D So to recap the last chapter, C.C. is pissed at Jason beause he slept with his ex girlfriend Gretchen right after he left C.C's house. Gretchen is not willing to let Jason go, so she starts getting him back into his old life and they go to blow up at post office. Next target is the high school where they go to school

C.C.'s POV
Aaah I was so nervous for this game. When I finished getting dressed, I went over my cheers again several times. "Nervous sweetie?" my mom asked. "Yeah, I feel like something's gonna happen." I replied going over my routine for the millionth time. "Relax, you always do great."
"Thannks. I still have that feeling though."
"Maybe you're anticipating a win."
"Maybe."
A car honked outside. "That's Lily, bye mama love yu." I said. "Love you too, good luck to you and your brother."
The parking lot was full, the game had been completely sold out so it was a full house. Biggest crowd we'd ever had it seemed. Lily came down with me and mingled with the other cheerleaders. The band started playing music, signaling the beginning of the game. "WHat a fine night we have for the biggest game of the season! Mckinley Spartans versus the Adams Patriots..." the commentatory went on and on, but everyone was focused on the teams pourting out onto the field. Mixed cheers rang out as Josh stepped in front of me. "You look beautiful tonight." he said. "Thank you... good luck out there." I replied. "Thanks." We lingered in eye contact for a moment before he had to get into formation,.
"C.C.!" Lily called from the stand. I looked at her and she gave me the thumbs up. Oooh, her prophecie's coming true, haha freaky. We started a cheer as the band started playing our fight song. A movement caught my attention. It was Jason and a girl. Oh great, he brought his slutty ex-gilfriend. I rolled my eyes and went back o my cheer. "2, 4, 6, 8, Patriots we'll obliterate!" we shouted. Jason and the slore took a seat on the set of bleachers beside me. He stared at me looking like he wanted to talk to me. He got up making his way next to me. "C.C." he began "What?" I answered keeping my eyes on the field. "Leave." he demanded.
"What? No, I'm cheering." I retorted letting out a whoop for a interception. He grabbed me by the shoulders looking me directly in the eye. "C.C. leave now, it's not safe." he said in a very serious tone.
"But-"
"Please, I don't want to see you hurt."
"Okay."
I put my pom poms down and signaled Lily from the stands. What's going on?" she asked. "I don't know, Jason said I needed to go, it wasn't safe." I replied pulli gout my car keys and looking back at the field getting ready to get my brother. BOOM! A loud explosion sounded in the field, followed by horrified screams. "Eric... Lily go home." I said pressing the car keys into her hand.
"I'm not leaving without you!" she called after me. "I have o get my brother!" I ran back into the field dodging frantic people. Josh bumped into me looking hurt. "C.C. go the other way." he said limping into me. "Are you okay?" I asked supporting his side. "Yeah, but you have to go." he replied. "Not without my brother. Where is Eric?
"He was on the south side of the field, be careful."
"I will, get home safely."
Josh limped away and I began my search for Eric. He was stagring towards an exit holding his knee. I darted to him helping him out.

Jason's POV
*5 Minutes Before Bombimng*
C.C was cheering a few feet away from me. I had to tell her to leave, there were two bombs waiting to go off. Gretchen squeezed my leg excitedly lettig me know tere was only 4minutes and 12 seconds until detonation. "I can't want to get you home tonight." she whispered kissing my neck softly. Ugh... "I have some business to take care of." I said removing her hands from touching me. She trailed her finger down my arm checking her watch. I went up to C.C. "C.C." I began. "What?" she returned cocentratin on the field.
"Leave." I instructed hoping she'd listen. "What? No, I'm cherring." she defied letting out a whoop for something in the game.I grabbed her shoulders. She felt soft, I wanted to kiss her badly, but broke that yearning and stared her directly in her beautiful brown eyes. "C.C leave no, it's not safe." I said seriously.
"But-"
"Please, I dont want to see you hurt."
"Okay."
It took everything I had to not pull her into my arms and kiss her, hold her, tell her I was sorry. I wanted to be her boyfriend, hug her, tell her she's beautiful everyday.
She broke my fantasy by turning and walking away from me. "Ready baby?" Gretchen said pulling my hand. We snuck to the ened zone behind the goal post. She knelt down to where the detonator was and picked it up. She was waiting for McKinley to try making a touchdown so both teams would be in the endzone. I looked up spotting Eric. Crap, he was on the team. If he got hurt, that'd kill C.C. Gretchen was grinning, she looked so evil. What did I ever see in her? "C'mon a little closer 52." she said gripping the detonator. 52, that was Eric. I had to stop her.
"Hold it Gretchen." I said firmly. "Jason, we'll miss our chance." she lifted her hand to slap thr button. I snatched up her wrist. "We're not doing this." she glared at me fighting my hands. "Let me go!" she cried lunging towards the detonator. I wrapped my arms around her waist lifting her up. "No!" she bucked and kicked aiming for that red button. Gretchen cried out exerting every ounce of energy she had and brought her foot down on the button. There was a faint beep, then BOOM! I dropped her watching as gravel flew up into the air. Gretchen cackled as players lied on the ground injured and people stampeded out of the stands.
"Jason, why so shocked?" Gretchen asked. I shurrged her off of me. "Don't touch me." I snapped. "Hey! What the hell is wrong with you?" she questioned. "You're what's wrong with me! I was prefectly fine until you came alone!"
"You happily took me home."
"Because I fell under your control! I didn't want to do this anymore. I was being good, I'd met someone." She raied her eyebrows. "You met someone? Haha don't be ridiculous Jason."
"Naw, it's not ridiculous." I said. "Jason-"
"Stop saying my name." I cut her off. "I may have only met her a few days ago, but I think I'm falling in love with her." I continued, nodding my head. "What?! Falling in her love with her, how could you possibly be falling in love with her?"
"Because she's not you. She's nice, caring, and even if she sometimes does have an attitude, it's  because she's strong and I love that about her, I love her." Gretchen shook her head unable to understand. "It's that cheerleader you were talking to. You warned her! Ugh typical male falling for the cheerleader!" She shouted. "Whatever, point it I love her."
"Ha, well you don't ever get to tell her, I'll find her before you do."

SORRY if there is any mistakes, I have to get off like now ~ALLI <3

I opened up the backpack seeing 2 bombs. "What's this?" I asked. "Don't tell me you forgot already?" Gretchen said. "No, but why are you giving me this?"
"I thought it was time we went out and played."
She smiled and took me by the hand leading me to a park car. Inside was a guy named Roger, he was my partner in Vegas, and now he as here. "What are we doing?" I asked. "Going postal haha." she replied. "And why are we blowing up a post office?"
"Jason, stop asking so many questions, think of this as old times." she handed me a detonator sealing up the backpack.
We arrived at a pretty busy post office and packaged up the bomb. "Okay, I'll go drop this off, and you baby, detonate." Gretchen said kissing me. Roger and I waited in the car, then when she came out and gave us the thumbs up, Roger looked at me piercingly saying, "Go Jason, unless you're chicken."
"I'm not a chicken." I answered pushing the button. The side wall of the post office exploded sending paper flying out. Gretchen jumped into the car and we broke out of the parking lot like, well like we'd just blown up a post office. "What a rush!" Gretchen exclaimed laughing. "I'd forgotten how great that felt." I added feeling energized.

C.C.'s POV
"He hit his head pretty hard; you think he's okay? Maybe I should go check on him." I said stretching alonside Lily. "No, he's fine, don't worry about him." she tried persuading doing a hurtle stretch. "But the bleachers are made of metal and-"
"Jason has a hard head." Lily finished pulling back her hamstrings. "Okay... you ready to hit that track now?" she nodded following me to the line. We started on our 2 mile run. After a mile, we stopped for a drink of water. "Ready to cheer for the big game?" Lily asked tossing me a water bottle. "Yeah, I hope we win this game against Adam's, it's the last and biggest game of the season." I replied.
"With your brother and Josh playing, the game's in the bag. Then afterwards, you and Josh go get a slice of pizza, he asks you out again, and boom! You're boyfriend and girlfriend." she prophezied. "Haha, I'd be really scared if it went down exactly like that." I said closing my water bottle. "Haha, let's get more detailed then. Game day, you and the other cheerleaders run onto the sideline beginning a cheer as the team comes out. Josh stops to tell you you look beatiful tonight. You thank him and wish him luck, then you both linger in eye contact, and he goes off to play just for you. 15 seconds left in the 4th quarter, he throws a pass winning the game against the Adams Patriots, Mckinley Spartans end the season with the greatest win in the Spartan/Patriots rivarly." she finished.
"Wow, aha that'd be awesome." I said getting ready to start the 2nd mile. "Never Say Never C.C." she winked lacing up her shoes. "Haha, 1, 2 ,3 go!"

Jaon's POV
"Where are we hitting next?" Roger asked. Gretchen grinned widely looking back at me. "Well, there's a big football game tomorrow night. The McKinley Spartans versus the Adams Patriots." she said. "That's my school." I pointed out. "Mmhmm, and that better time to hit it than during the biggest game of their season?"
"I don't hate my school."
"Jason, you don't have to hate something to blow it up."
"Gretchen-"
"Baby, let me handle this, we'll be fine okay?"
She hopped into the backseat with me putting her hand on my shoulder. "Paul has softened you too much." she gently insulted. "He has not softened me."
"Then prove it to me."
"Fine, tomorrow night, football season's ending with a bang."

Ooohhhh no! He's gonna blow up the game that C.C.'s brother plays on! :O What do you think is gonna happen?? Tweet me! I hope you guys liked this chapter! Next one coming up now. I got a chance to type up many because I was listening to the Kings game over the internet. They won btw, 3-1! :D ~ALLI <3

"Oooh! He slept with another girl!" Camillla instigated. "One more time, Camilla, butt in one, more, time." she shook her head. "Jason, are you serious?" I asked him feeling hurt. "Yeah..." he replied quietly. "I-I thought you liked me, it was a lie?" My brother was right. "No, C.C. I do like you, it's just-"
"It's just what, Jason? One girl isn't enough, you need 2, 3 maybe?"
I was beginning to feel very embrassed because I knew Camilla was listening. My eyes welled up slowly. "I should've seen this coming." I said shaking my head. The bell rang stopping Jason from replying. "Saved by the bell." Camilla muttered. Anger filled me up and I released it by pulling her hair.
She yelped pushing me as a retaliation. Jason stepped in-between us a method of prevention. "Whoa, let's not get into this." he reasoned. "Shut up Jason." I said going to my next class. What was wrong with him? He had just told me he liked me, I returned my feelings, invited him over to my house, then the same night he goes and sleeps with his ex-girlfriend. How does a guy just do that? I know I wasn't his gilfriend, but I really liked him, ugh I felt so stupid. At lunch, he was nowhere to be found. Lily noticed my mood, she didn't know about the day before. I hadn't found a chance to tell her yet. "C.C. does this have anything to do with that Jason McCann?" Lily asked. "Ugh, don't, mention his name." I said resting my cheek on my face.
"What did he do now?" she asked. "I yesterday, he got me sent to the office then he got in trouble, so we were going to the office, and he suggested we should ditch, so we did and we went to a coffee shop. He told me he liked me, I said the same, and he came over to my house to watch the game, then in first in he told me that after he left, he ran into his ex, took her home and slept with her." Lily chuckled. I looked at her confused and annoyed, this wasn't funny. "Sorry it just sounds funny, the way you said it." I sighed sadly.
"I'm sorry, but look, obviously Jason is a jerk. Forget about him, we'll find you a new guy." she said. "But I don't want a new guy, I want him." I whined.

Jason's POV
Ugh I messed up with her! Gretchen had disappeared, she'd been the biggest mistake I've ever made, in the past and last night. Ah forget it. I began walking past the football field and saw C.C. She's a cheerleader? Wow, she looks great in a uniform. She was talking to a football player, being all giggly, what is that? She brushed an imaginary object off his shoulder, oh my god, she's flirting! I hid behind the bleachers and peered through one of the slits. The guy twirled a strand of her hair making her giggle more. Wow, one mistake and she just moves onto the next guy? Well then, be like that. The guy said goodbye to her and she watched him until he left the field, then she frazzled her pom poms a bit before sitting down.
She sighed sounding depressed. "Lily hey." she said when her friend arrived. "Hey, so I saw you talking to Josh, wink wink, haha." Lily teased. Josh, pff, what a stupid name. "Yeah, he's really nice." C.C. replied.
"And cute."
"And cute, haha."
"Cuter than that Jason person?"
"... I don't want to talk about him."
"Is Josh cuter than Jason? It's a simple yes or no question."
Yeah C.C. answer the question.
"Well-" crack! "Ow! Crap!" I cried crumpling to the ground. "What the hell?" I heard C.C. say, coming around. "Jason?!" she gasped. "Hey, C.C." I greeted holding my head. "What are you doing here? Were you listening to our conversation?" she asked putting her hand to her chest. "No, I wasn't trying to, you caught me at a bad time."
"At a bad time? What are you doing here?"
"I saw you talking to that Josh dude and I-"
"Decided to spy on me? Jason, that's not cool."
"Not cool? You're flirting with another guy after you told me you liked me."
She let out a chuckle. "And you slept with your ex-girlfriend. Hardly the same thing I'm doing." she shot. "That's irrelevant." I stated. "That's not irrelevant! You hurt me Jason, I actually thought you liked me and I told you I liked you too, I don't do those kinds of things, I'm not that open about my feelings. I feel stupid, I'm embarrassed."
"I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to do that to you, but Gretchen, she just has this way of controlling me."
"Well then go back to her."
"C.C. c'mon don't be like that."
She shook her head. "No." she retorted. "Fine, but just away from me then."
"With pleasure Jason."
She turned on her heels storming away. Lily just stood there awkwardly while I rubbed my head. "Well, I should probably go now." she said pointing in C.C.'s direction. "Yeah, okay, bye." I replied. "Yeeeah, bye." I got up and started walking home. "Jason." a girl said. I turned to see Gretchen standing before me. "It's time." she informed holding a black backpack out to me.

Ooooooh C.C. is not givng him a chance is he?? I hope you gus liked it! I'm sorry I didn't post on Friday, I was at a dance. It was soo fun! I loved it! They played Boyfriend, but I was in the bathroom and only caught the last 20 seconds, I'm still mad about that haha. But I still got to fangirl for those 20 seconds. I'm in pain though, my back hurts so much I need to hold it to walk. I guess that's what I get for shuffling in heels lol, oh well why not? I'm about to post the next chapter right now :) ~ALLI <3

"Gretchen, long time no see." I said turning to face her. "I'm surprised you remembered my name." she answered angrily. "It's hard to forget you." Gretchen scoffed rolling her eyes. "Oh really? Wasn't too hard when you disappeared from Oakland." she snapped. "I had to leave."
"Without so much as a goodbye, Jason? What, I wasn't good enough to get one?"
"That's not it."
"Then what?!"
"Paul forced me to leave you."
"Yeah? Why?"
"I was getting into too much trouble."
A hurt expression took over her face. "I'm sorry I'm bad for you." she whispered. "That's not what I meant." I tried explaining. She shook her head. "No, I get it." she started walking away. "Gretchen! Please don't walk away from me." she ignored my plea. "Gretchen!" she threw her arm back like telling me to f off. I don't think so, I ran up to her and pulled her hand. "Let me go Jason, it's what you're best at." she said crying. "Don't say that, I didn't want to leave you, I still love you." she wiped her tear and drew me into a kiss. At the back of my mind I was thinking of C.C. but at the moment I was wrapped up in Gretchen.
She hugged me afterwards and to be honest, it felt right and wrong at tht same time. "Come home with me." I said. Gretchen nodded leaning into me. Paul would probably flip, but he didn't have to know and neither did C.C. Gretchen was starving when we got home so I gave her the rest of what Paul had brought me. Alex still wasn't home, which was good. I wanted to get Gretchen into my room before anyone saw her. "We'll have to sneak you out in the morning." I said.
"That's fine. Thank you for letting me stay here tonight." she thanked, running her hand down my arm. "You're welcome." She made herself comfortable next to me. Hopefully, Paul wouldn't come home and see her in my bed. "Jason I need you." Gretchen said. "What's wrong?" I asked looking down at her. "I miss our old life, when we'd sneak out at night to our warehouse spot, making bombs. Don't you miss it?"
"Yeah, I do, but I promised Paul I would stop."
"Paul? Forget Paul, he hasn't done anything for you. Ralph, now he did a lot for you. All Paul ever did was take you away from him and me."
"He's my legal guardian."
"We need to get you back into your old life." she stared me directly in the eyes. "I want you tonight." she said turning off my lamp.

C.C.'s POV
"How'd you meet Jason?" Eric asked. "He sits behind me in English." I replied. "He must be a smart kid then."
"Yeah, I guess."
"Be careful around him."
"Why?"
Eric shook his head. "No reason, but just don't let your guard down too much." he continued. "Did Jason say something?" I asked. "No, I just want you to be careful, Jason seems a little shady. I'm just looking out for you."
"Okay, thanks."
I've never doubted my brother before. I mean I knew Jason wasn't exactly the model citizen, but he couldn't be that bad. The whole night Eric's comment weighed on me no matter how much I tried shaking it off. In the morning, Jason's behavior was my first thought. I never did see his brother pick him up, in fact, he disappeared as soon as I closed the door. At school, he came late to class and didn't say a word to me. "Morning." I said in a normal non-concerned tone. He failed to respond and didn't even look me in the eye. "Aww is Jason ignoring you?" Camilla sneered. "Yeah, but at least he didn't embarrass me in front of the whole class, oh, but didn't he do that to you? Aw, oh that sucks." I replied, She glared at me until Mrs. Foster started the day's lesson.
"We're doing groupwork, everybody pick a partner. C.C. I want you to work with Jason." She said going to her desk. There was an awkward silence between us. "I'll write it out." I said pulling out a piece paper. Jason couldn't meet my eyes, he looked ashamed. We got through our assignment with little participation from him. "Your partners today will be your partners for the next week." Mrs. Foster said. Great... something was wrong with Jason and he wouldn't even tell me "What's with you?" I finally asked. "Nothing." he muttered in a low tone. "So why can't you look at me?" he shook his head, still unable to make eye contact with me. "I don't know..." he started playing with his clothes. "Can you not stare at me." he demanded.
"No, free country, I do what I please." I answered sternly. "Fine, whatever." he said shaking his head. I continued staring at him. "What do you want from me?" he asked sighing annoyed. "What is wrong with you? Everything was fine last night." I said. "Last night?" Camilla butted in. "Mind your business Camilla." She scoffed and returned to her work. "Something happened..." he said. "Are you okay? What happened?" I pressed. "I... I, ran into my ex last night, and she went back home with me."
"And?"
"And... I... slept, with her."

Oooooooooooh. I hope you guys liked this chapter, let me know! :) ~ALLI <3

Jason's POV
Paul warned me about having a gilfriend, he wouldn't like this, but who said he had to know? Besides, I hadn't asked her to be my girlfriend, yet. C.C. was different from my last one. She was good and definitely not into making bombs like I am. I picked up the phone to call her. "Jason." a man said. My heart almost stopped cold. "Paul, hi, you're home early." I said calmly. "I came home to drop this food off for you." he replied setting it down on the table. "Thanks."
"It's what dads do."
I glanced at him, he'd never called himself my dad before. "Do you have homework?" he asked. "Yeah." I responded. "Are you going to do it?"
"Yes."
"Okay good. Uh, why is the phone in your hand?"
"Um, I was, going to call Alex."
"Are you sure you weren't going to call Gretchen?
Gretchen was my last gilfriend. We got into a lot of trouble back in Oakland. She lived in a crappy group home, so we blew it up. No one died, but the person who ran the place was out of a job. "No, I left her behind like you asked me to." I said. "Jason, it was for your own good. You seem to fall in with bad people. You better not have a girlfriend here." I didn't reply, that way I wouldn't be lying, exactly. "I have to go, but I'll be here in the morning to take you to school." he said. "Okay." As soon as he closed the door I called C.C. Paul had a strange schedule so either I asked her out tonight or it wouldn't happen.
"Hello?" C.C. answered. "Hey C.C. it's Jason." I said. "Hi Jason, what's up?"
"Nothing much, I was just wondering if you'd like to go out tonight."
"Tonight, I can't, my parents are out of town, but you can come over. My brother's here and we're going to watch a hockey game. Would you, like to come over?"
"Okay, I'll be there soon."
"Great!"
She gave me the address. It was probably a bad idea to go into a city I didn't know, but oh well.
Her house wasn't too far away, but the streets were dark, and it felt like someone was following me. C.C. was standng at the door with a kitten in her hand. "Hi Jason." she said. "Hi." I replied kissing her cheek. She smiled and invited me in. Her brother was lying on the couch drinking a soda. He looked at me and sat up. "You must be Jason. C.C.'s been talking about you since you called." he said. "Eric shh!" C.C. cried as her cheeks turned red. "It's true." Eric continued. "Yeah, but you didn't have to tell him. Anyways Jason, this is my brother Eric, Eric this is Jason." We shook hands and then I was invited to sit down.
"Who's playing?" I asked. "Vancouver vs. LA." C.C. replied. "They're games are to intense." she continued. She sat next to me handing me a can of soda. Her brother was really cool, he didn't tease her about me and was really nice, but then again I was technically being good. I hadn't exactly gotten into trouble like in the past. "Have you eaten Jason?" Eric asked. "Yeah, I ate before I came." I replied. C.C. was so riled up during the game, I'd never seen someone love hockey as much as she did. Her brother would look at me and laugh when C.C. would yell at the ref through the TV. I'd love to see her during a football game. After the game, I hung out with her in the living room. "Is your stepdad picking you up?" she asked. "My brother is." That was a lie. "I think he's here actually." I said standing up. "I'll walk you out." she followed me. "Oh no, it's cold, stay in here."
I kissed her on the cheek again. "Bye." she said. "Bye." When she closed the door, I walked down the street hoping she wouldn't catch on. A rustling came from the bushes behind me. Probably the wind, I thought to myself ignoring the rising hairs on the back of my neck. There was more rustling followed by a voice. "Jason." I knew that voice all too well. "Gretchen, long time no see."

Oh snap, his ex in back in the picture :o. Well hello everyone! Haha, this week went by sooo slowly! I can't wait til summer, I am soooooo tired of school already. I hope you guys liked this chapter, I'm gonna try to get chapter 4 out tonight. ~ALLI <3

C.C.'s POV
He got me in trouble! Grr that Jason McCann was a bad kid from the start, rude not only to me, but to the teacher, totally expressing his annoyance with her. No one likes listening to the teacher, but at least don't show it so obviously. The next day he came late to class, wearing his cap and hoodie again. "Jason, I've warned you about your cap and hood." Mrs. Foster said eyeing him. "It's cold." he retorted. "I don't care, take it off." she replied calmly but sternly. "Words like those can get a teacher in trouble." Mrs. Foster was taken aback by his comment. "I- detention now!" he smirked and left the class gladly. Wow, that was bad. His 3rd day went like this, "Jason! For the last time, take off you cap and hood!" he rolled his eyes exhaling sharply, but did as he was told.
His 4th day, went a little better. He came in as usual and sat behind me. He was looking cute, when didn't he? I... anyways, someone that looked like him should certainly have a better disposition. Camilla immediately turned her attention to him. "Jason, how are you bad boy?" she asked smiling flirty. I looked at her, chuckled, and shook my head. Jason ignored her, haha. Camilla awkwardly tried saying hi to me, but I ignored her too. We hardly ever talked, she was just trying to play off Jason's rudeness. Class started and Mrs. Foster instructed us to open our books to page 143. "Who is responsible for the main characters downfall?" she asked beginning the class discussion. Camilla shot her hand up. "I think it was the main characters fault, he allowed himself to be tempted." she said sitting up straight, Mrs. Foster agreed. "Is it possible his wife is at fault somewhere here?"
Camilla raised her hand again. "A little, she manipulated him to her advantage." Mrs. Foster agreed. "Now, was he born innately good or innately evil?" Camilla raised her hand, again. "She is so annoying." Jason breathed. His remark caught me off guard and caused a giggle to erupt from me. I looked back at him to see him smile at me. His smile, was ha, cute too. "It's rude to laugh in the middle of someone's comment." Camilla snapped in her nasaly voice. "Sorry, do continue, what you say it just so stimulating." Jason let out entailing pure sarcasm. I looked to the side laughing underhandedly. Camilla glared at me angrily. "What? He said it." I defended. "You obviously agree."
"Just finish, annoying."
"Mrs. Foster did you hear her!"
"C.C.! Office now!" Mrs. Foster ordered. "Seriously?" she pointed to the door. "Fine, but Jason comes with me." she looked at him. "There's no reason for him to go." OH MY GOD HE STARTED THIS! Jason stood up as if he'd heard my thoughts. I did say that in my mind right? "Camilla, you annoy me and probably the whole class, why? You're a kiss ass." he said. Wow, he's like my hero right now. "Office, both of you." he put on his cap, tipped it, and followed me out. "Taking me down with you?" he asked smiling. "You got me into this." I answered. He stopped and grabbed my hand. "Hey, let's ditch the office and go somewhere." he said. "Seriously?" He had to be kidding. "Yeah, c'mon let's go somewhere."
"Where?"
"Anywhere."
I thought it over, I'd never ditched school before. "Okay..."
He took me by the hand again, I liked that feeling. Two security guards were standing at the door, it'd be hard to get past them unnoticed. Jason took my bag and hit it behind a trash can. "We're sneaking out the back." he said. "There's more security back there." I argued. He smiled. "Trust me." We ran to the boys bathroom, whoa, um.. He popped open a window standing under it. "Ready?" he asked. "What if someone comes in, like a guy, and he see's us in here?"
"Well let's get going and we won't have that problem." he boosted me up and out, then followed suit. "Ready to climb a gate?"
I nodded and jumped onto the gate. Our feet hit the pavement and we snuck down the street giggling. "Wow, I've never done that before." I said. "Haha really? Is it better than school?"
"Waay better."
We walked into a coffee shop. "Don't stpill this one on me." he said. "Haha, I'll try." We ordered then sat down at a table by the window. "Where are you from?" I asked taking a sip. "Oakland." he replied. "But originally from Vegas?"
"You were eavesdropping huh?"
"Ha, not exactly. Camilla's voice carries."
"No kidding, how'd you ever deal with her?"
"To be honest, this is the first time I've ever said anything, I usually just ignore her."
"I give you props for that. So what was different about this time?"
I smiled shyly. "You." I said feeling my heart pound hard in my chest. "Me?" I nodded. "Mmhmm, something about your attitude, inspired me to do it." he leaned back in his chair. "You know, something about you inspired me too." he said. "Really?"
"Yeah, by now I would've been kicked out of the class."
"How's that related to me?"
"I held back on my attitude, because I wanted to see you everyday."
My hands tingled. "I've thought about you everyday since I met you in the office." he continued seeming so calm telling me all this.
I'd thought about him everyday too since I met him, even if sometimes it was because he was getting on my nerves. "I've thought about you too, even now I can't stop." he leaned forward into the table. "I like you C.C." he confessed. I almost turned to jelly. He was really cute, and even though he gets in trouble often and has a bad attitude, I was drawn to him, a lot. "I like you too Jason."
I didn't think it was possible, but his cheeks turned slightly pink.
"Let's go walk around." he suggested smiling. He interlaced his fingers with mine as we walked out of the coffee shop. I asked him about his life, and he told me his mom died a couple years ago, so he and his older brother lived with their stepdad, Dr. Huxby. They moved from Vegas to Oakland because the hospital was transfering him and again here to LA.
"It's getting late, school's about to end." I said. We turned back almost getting caught by a cop. It's a HUGE fine if you're caught ditching school. "Pigs are everywhere." Jason pointed out annoyed. "You don't like cops.?" I asked. "No." he sounded mad. We hopped the gate and snuck back inside the building through the girls bathroom this time. My bag was right where Jason had left it. "Can I call you?" he asked. "Yeah, have you phone on you?"
"My stepdad took it away, but I'll remember."
"Why'd you get it taken away, blow up the house? Haha."
"Something like that."
"Aha, well my number's 323-555-7281"
"Got it."
The bell rang leaving us standing there awkwardly. "Well I have to go." I said. "Yeah, me too. I'll call you later."
"Yeah okay."
Wait a minute what? I hated this guy a few days ago now I'm awaiting his call? Is that bad?

Is it bad? Aha, I hoped you guys liked chapter 2. Hmm, I thought my week was going to be insane since my teachers told us we were going to be moving fast with test prep and papers due, in other words they said, "Welcome to Hell." Buuuuuut I've actually managed to finished my homework quickly and have time to type this up. Haha yay! Well tweet me lovelies ~ALLI <3

C.C's POV
"Cassandra Castillo to the main office please, Cassandra Castillo." a woman called over the intercom. "Oooh C.C. you're in trouble!" my best friend Lily teased. "Haha, I've been caught! Well I'll see you later then." I replied walking to the main office. It was the first day back after our student free day after finals and already I was called into the office? I didn't do anything, unless my brother Eric got in trouble. The front desk secretary looked up at me. "Mr. Greene wants to see you in his office." she said. Mr. Greene was the principal, uh-oh. "Good morning Miss Castillo." he said when I entered his office timidly. "Good morning Mr. Greene, you wanted to see me?" I said in a small voice. He nodded. "Yes, this won't take long. I would lke you to plan the spring dance. I have all faith in you."
Challenge accepted. "Yes sir, I'd love to." I said. "Great, if you need anything let me know."
"I will sir, thank you."
"Oh no, thank you."
Phew, for a minute there I thought I was in trouble. I sighed relieved and spotted a penny face side up on the floor. Hey the lucky side! I bent to pick it up hoping it'd give me luck in planning the dance. Slam! I hit my head on something, or someone and spilled my coffee. "Watch it." a guy muttered as he picked up my folder and handed me what was left of my coffee cup. "I'm sorry, I didn't-" wow, this guy was really cute. "Yeah, whatever." he looked annoyed. "I said I was sorry."
"Okay whatever."
Rude.

Jason's POV
I stared at that girl until she left the building. She was beauiful, her eyes were so enchanting. I'd just met her, well if you can call it that and I couldn't stop thinking about her. Not only for those reasons, but also because my leg was burning from where the coffee hit. "Jason." my stepdad Paul called. I stepped up the counter. "Here's your class schedule and school's about to start." he said handing me a paper. I took it and was pulled aside by him. "Jason, don't screw this up, we're not moving again. First it was Vegas, then it was Oakland, we're staying in LA, got it?" he instructed. "Yeah." I answered. "Alright, have a good first day."
"Thanks."
I turned and started started walking to my first class, honors English 11. Everyone stared at me as I entered the class and stood by the teacher while she found a seat for me. I surveyed the room and my eyes landed on that girl, she was staring at me too. "Okay Jason, sit behind Cassandra there." the teacher, Mrs. Foster said pointing behind that girl. Cassandra, pretty name for a very pretty girl. I sat behind her and leaned back in my seat. "I hope everyone is ready for second semester, it's hopefully going to be a chance for some of you to get better grades, and Jason..." she trailed off. "Yeah..."
"Take off your hood and cap please."
"Why?"
"Caps and hoods are not allowed in class."
I sighed annoyed and took them off. Cassandra looked back at me. "Need something?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and turned back around. I wanted to talk to her, but speaking nicely to her wasn't happening. Mrs. Foster gave us a quick writing assignment and when we finished we could hang out. "Hi." the girl sitting next to Cassandra said to me. "Eh." I answered beginning my assignment. "I'm Camilla, nice to meet you Jason was it? You're new right?"
"Yeah."
"Where are you from originally?" she asked. "Originally, from Vegas."
"Oh so you must like the Cardinals."
"The Cardinals are from Arizona. Nevada doesn't have an NFL team."
"Oh... so who's your favorite team then?"
"Raiders, I recently came from Oakland."
"Oakland Raiders, you like the same team as C.C."
Cassandra turned. "Your name's C.C.?" I asked. "Nickname, based on my initials." she replied then returned to her work, and so did I. "What's your last name?" Camilla asked. "McCann." I answered curtly hoping she'd get the message to leave me alone. "Jason McCann, your names cute." C.C. glanced at Camilla and shook her head. "Thanks." I said. Camilla smiled and winked. Okay... I poked C.C. with my pencil. She stared at it then followed it up setting her lovely eyes on me. "How was the rest of your coffee?" I asked. "Fine, the floor had most of it.." she replied. "And my pants." she let out a small giggle, so cute. "Haha, welcome present?"
"C.C.!" Mrs. Foster yelled. "What?" C.C. asked. "I know 2nd semester has just begun, but I expect you to put your work ahead of your friends." C.C.'s cheeks turned bright red as everyone stared at her. She glanced back at me appearing angry. "Thanks a lot." Sorry?

First chapter, I really hoped you guys liked it. Please tweet me your feedback, I'd like to know how this story is starting out with you guys. I thought I wouldn't have time today, but I finished my homework early. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post because my teachers informed us today that we only have 10 weeks of school left so the pressure is on. Plus CST testing is coming up including the AP test and Finals too. I think teachers met this morning and were like, "Hey let's kill the sophomores!" Yay! *Sigh* but I will try my very best to come on here and post regularly. Thank you for your patience those of you who know what my schedule is like and those that are new to it thank you for understanding. ~ALLI <3
